• Each project team should have a senior academic to lead the academic direction and research of the project.
• Project team need administrative and technical support.
• Project teams need intrinsic motivation relating to their professional practice in e-learning. However, their contribution to the project also needs to be formally recognised through time release, consultancy fee etc.
• Effective working relationships with project partners only develop over time and through the process of successful progress in the project. Often this means being very flexible and ‘thinking on your feet’.
